In 2010, I had the opportunity to help produce nine games within Game Wizards (description below). I helped each of the teams stay on track, meet deadlines, and hand in documentation (Game Design Documents, Presentation Pages, Gameplay Videos, etc.) due at specific milestones. I also created flyers for the teams to obtain aid with the projects, I created websites, Twitter accounts, and Facebook accounts for teams that wanted them, and I also created and managed contact sheets, asset lists, animation and audio requests, and an overall program timeline.
Furthermore, I dealt with other departments in the school to get help for the teams too. This includes speaking and working with the head of the audio department, the animation department, and even the culinary department! Doing what I could to make sure each team had the help they needed was definitely a main goal of mine. Each team had their own site, as well as a link to download and play their game.

Responsibilities
- Had teams create audio, animation, and asset lists for their game so that they had an idea of what was needed to be done, how much time it would take to complete, and whether or not they'd meet deadlines with the desired content in mind
- Dealt first-hand with the audio department head and the animation head in order to obtain help in each of those categories for the teams
- Interviewed team leads daily to find out their needs and help resolve any issues
- Helped organize lead meetings during production
- Helped teams submit to the IGF competition in 2010
- Made sure teams completed contact sheets, logos for their team/games, videos of gameplay, and posted on forums
- Took many notes for each team throughout production
- Helped with Asset Presentation Pages
- Provided Game Design Document templates
- Provided "One-Sheet" templates
- Helped create a timeline for the program
- Tracked and obtained Release Forms from members of each team
- Created websites for each team
- Created Facebook and Twitter pages for teams
- Constant contact with leads via Gmail, GChat, etc.
- Utilized Google Docs in order to track everything with the teams. Simple spreadsheet documents, presentation documents, and even word documents helped me to create and share information for each team. This tool was pivotal in my production process, and I don't know how I would have survived without it
- Did not sleep much
- Helped create flyers for advertising and recruitment
- Helped create Power Point presentation templates for all nine teams
Game Wizards
Game Wizards is not a group of people in robes hidden deep underground as a secret society. Game Wizards is instead a group of passionate Game Artists, Designers, Producers, Animators, Programmers, and Sound Engineers who work together to create amazing game experiences for our players. Being a Game Wizard takes dedication, creativity, and teamwork. In 2009-2010, Game Wizards placed second in the world for the "$1 Million Intel Make Something Unreal Contest".
