Responsibilities
I worked on multiple projects for Game Wizards, holding two different roles during my time there. I started as an environment artist for the game Exodus (PC), and then after that project completed, transitioned to a producer for nine different games (PC/iOS). More information can be found on each project's respective page by clicking on the icons above, but here is a shorter list of daily activities:
- Dealt first-hand with the audio department head and the animation head in order to obtain help in each of those categories for the teams
- Interviewed team leads daily to find out their needs and help resolve any issues
- Helped organize lead meetings during production
- Helped teams submit to the IGF competition in 2010
- Took many notes for each team throughout production
- Helped create a timeline for the program
- Created websites for each team
- Created Facebook and Twitter pages for teams
- Constant contact with leads via Gmail, GChat, etc.
- Utilized Google Docs in order to track everything with the teams. Simple spreadsheet documents, presentation documents, and even word documents helped me to create and share information for each team. This tool was pivotal in my production process, and I don't know how I would have survived without it
- Did not sleep much
- Helped create flyers for advertising and recruitment
- Created multiple assets for Exodus, varying size and texture
- Researched and gathered a great deal of reference in order to help correctly create each asset in 3D
- Utilized a combination of programs like ZBrush, 3DS Max, Maya, and Photoshop to model and texture the assets
- Met deadlines set for each asset
- Implemented any changes requested by team leads
