One of my many roles for Superfugu* was a Level Designer. Below are various images of in-game screenshots during and after production, as well as some top-down images to give an idea of level layout and design.
- Worked closely with level design team obtaining and implementing feedback, while also creating intuitive layouts
- Provided feedback on all levels, including aesthetics, gameplay, design, and progression
- Optimized all levels for various mobile devices, including Android, iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, and iPad Mini devices
- Designed levels from paper prototypes to 3D finalization
- Maintained a consistent "reef theme" with the team throughout all levels within the current version of the game
- Did multiple art passes, edited collision, manipulated lighting, friend and enemy AI placement, and overall look and feel on all levels
- Collaborated with the entire team to fix bugs in levels, including multiple level run-throughs and testing myself, and assignments for our QA team
* Please note that Superfugu was removed from iTunes Store after the company pivoted in a new direction.
